hello n0by and all,

yes this photo was taken right in front of my house last Sunday. and they seem small - it was the mom who was BIG(grrr). This is not the best photo possible.

That's why i have ordered a 35mm camera with 80X zoom, because the digitals take too long to process their information - the mom had fled into bushes by the time the digital stopped whirring and clicking.

They just ran across road into the bushes by the beach - still out there somewhere. I'm sure they're fine; almost time to hibernate for them now! I haven't put trash down in the garage for almost a week!

I think that Europe - in many parts - because of how long they have had human developments, er "western civilization" - maybe larger game animals have been gone a long time? Or more rare? I just recall the feudal system amd how the serfs were only allowed hunting in restricted areas, while the lords of the manors had private hunting estates. It just seems like a recipe for hungry peoples everywhere.

It would be really nasty if forced to feed on mice and spiders! eeew! Luckily there are edible plants and fish besides.

I have really enjoyed your Polish trip vicariously through your photos and reports.
Thankyou - it is an edification.
Enjoy your time at home as well!
valerie
