Flowering Country: On my last day in Thueringen the sun coloured the pictures better.

These traffic lights still are different in Eastern and Western Germany.
"White Whale" stands at the former border between both German countries on the road B84 Frankfurt - Leipzig.

It is an arduous change from the reality on the road to words in web. The reality is overwhelming with 1001 influences. The roads are tiny or in bad condition. Weather, light, day and night, heat and cold, noise and silence all things are continuously changing. Even our home land has changed to the max, when the division of two Germany West and East ended November 1989. Still these new countries – new for West Germans – are a different world for me.

My last days in “Hessen” brought a cultural shock just crossing the invisible border to the next German part “Thueringen”. Some buildings are marvellous renovated, just a corner around still a ruin remembers the “Democratic Republic Government”.

Still today, 11 years after the fall of the “Wall”, prices and wages are lower in the Eastern countries of Germany.

Centuries ago the Country was wealthy enough to create castles, churches, culture. Johann Sebastian Bach, Goethe, Schiller, Cranach and Martin Luther, who translated the bible in German language are to feel everywhere in this part of Germany. Who first translated the Bible into other languages?

This cultural chain of one language started to create one German nation. Still there is hope: nowadays an united Europe could help to create one world united.
