- from weed, bht., peyote cactus - (that use to be available here in Texas legally)--- to the mushrooms down in Mexico- high in the mountains- and a lot of LSD - |
but that is also a dangerous road - as i nearly blew my brains out high on acid with a 44 magnum pistol- but as i was listening to Janet Joplin record of "Cry" |
- she came through from her grave and told me not to fuck up like she did- and with shaken hands i put the gun down- |
and that was more or less the turning point as i started to clean up my act and started eating better and fasting and eventually doing long periods of time on a raw food diet and one thing lead to another and i was turned on to a book of Osho (then he was called Bhagwan Shee Rajneesh) and then in December of '77 I traveled to Pune and took Sannyas and then traveling back to India three more time - and then moving to the commune in Oregon in '82 |
Wow a lot of water has passed down stream since then but my connection is still just as strong with Osho if not stronger. |
One thing i remember Osho saying about any kind of drugs was that it dulls your sensitivity over time and without using weed or what ever you become too insensitive- |
So as for me now i am enjoying my
meditations too much to care about anything else- i mainly do the "Mirror
Meditation" that Osho talks about in the "Secret
of Secrets"

Also my meditation carries me into a lot of creative paintings - which is what my degree was in at the University of Texas many many years ago- but i really became productive starting last year- now at a ripe old age of 67 it has given me a huge love for life and living each moment to the fullest.
